When Seeking the right Mindset

Your mind is like a small child growing up, learning how to protect feed and teach themselves throughout their young life. The younger you are at learning things the more likely it would be to entrench the teachings they have received. A child looks up to older people to be trained to relate to each other.

Like a child, the mind starts at this time too, except your mind is taught things over and over again to make sure that is does not forget what to do. This can be where the problems start, entrenching ideas and leanings into minds at an early age. I believe this can cause you do certain the same all your life till you are told then it becomes hard to change.

When you are young and you are growing up, you find that a lot of things you pick up becomes habitual or in a mindset state, and therefore you do the same thing over and over again, some habitual things are needed of coarse you will do these things naturally without even thinking about it.

Getting into Habits

I will give you an example of what I mean. Say  you brush your teeth, yes that’s right stick the tooth brush in your mouth and away you go. You know that tooth brush must get sick of going the same way around your mouth everyday try it when next you are doing your teeth, and see if you are doing them the same way.

What I’m trying to point out here is that during your life you have probably been to the Dentist and he has advised you of the best way to wash your teeth, but what happens you do what the Dentist says to do but eventually you fall back into your habitual ways again because that is the way you have been doing them all your life.

The older you get the harder it is to get out of bad habits so you need to look for a way to help you. Now I know teeth washing is way down the list of important topics to talk about with habits, but habits can be about anything you have entrenched into your mind over a period of time.

The Remedy

I have been reading this book on reprogramming the mind. It is a book that with time time will show you how to move away from habits.

Types of Habits

You know as well as I do that some habits that you form, are habits that affect your health, like smoking, being overweight, eating the wrong foods, no exercising, hate your job which causes stress ( I class this as a habit ) these are all habits that can be repaired by reading Reprogramming the Mind for Success the book and following the guidelines it gives you, try and good luck.
